was proud to be part of an educational and unique 2-day Taiwanese culinary experience hosted by the Florida Taiwanese Business Assoc. and the Overseas Community Affairs Council of Taiwan!
The 12-course banquet dinner prepared by 2 award-winning guest chefs from Taiwan and interactive cooking class the next day was an unforgettable celebration of Taiwan's rich culinary heritage!
A big thanks to the organizers, chefs and volunteers for making this incredible cultural experience possible!

The and are proud to announce the launch of two new Mandarin afterschool classes at the Park Maitland South Campus in Winter Park!
📅Classes begin August 24th and August 27th.
These engaging afterschool classes are designed to introduce students to Mandarin language and Chinese culture through fun, interactive and age-appropriate activities.

was proud to guest host 2 Duanwu Festival programs at the Orlando Science Center and teach OSC families about Duanwu traditions with dragon boats, zongzi, the story of Qu Yuan and do cute dragon and dragon boat craft projects. A big Thanks to the great staff at OSC for helping to make the programs successful! Looking forward to more opportunities to share Chinese culture with OSC families in the fall!

🐉 On May 30, the Chinese American Association of Central Florida (CAACF) proudly celebrated the Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival at Lake Fairview!
Even with a bit of unpredictable morning weather, our community showed up with incredible spirit, turning the day into a vibrant celebration of culture, teamwork, and tradition.
Nearly 100 attendees joined us for this meaningful cultural and athletic gathering. The event opened with a beautiful Dragon Boat Eye‑Dotting Ceremony, led by our distinguished VIP guests:
• Puxiao Cen, MD, FACC, MHE
• Pauline Huang, President, Global Federation of Chinese Business Women 世界華人工商婦女企管協會 GFCBW Orlando Chapter
• Joe Wang, Taiwan Overseas Chinese Affairs Commissioner
• Franco Tu, Overseas Community Affairs Secretary
Participants learned the basics of dragon boat paddling before heading onto the water for a friendly mini‑race — crossing the finish line with laughter, cheers, and plenty of smiles.
To honor the Duanwu tradition, every participant received a medal and a zongzi (sticky rice dumpling) as a festive treat.
A heartfelt thank‑you to CAACF members, The Chinese School of CAACF 中佛州中華學校, and Team C.H.A.R.G.E. Dragon Boat - Orlando for bringing your enthusiasm, teamwork, and delicious zongzi to share.
We also deeply appreciate the support of Orlando Rowing Club, Orlando Rowing Club — Dragon Boat Club (ORC‑DBC), Ms. Andrea Eliscu, and all of our dedicated CHARGE Dragon Boat Club volunteers who helped make the day smooth and memorable.
We were honored to showcase our sport and culture to:
• Global Federation of Chinese Business Women 世界華人工商婦女企管協會 GFCBW Orlando Chapter
• Orange County Fire Rescue Department, Florida
• R.E.A.C.H. of Central Florida
