Professionals in the design field will share their experiences as women in design and discuss their career paths, challenges, and perspectives within the profession. The panel will also include time for questions and conversation with attendees.

Scenic Jacksonville hosted its 6th Annual Great Cities Symposium with speaker VICTOR DOVER, a nationally acclaimed leader and innovator in city, neighborhood, and street design.
Trained as an architect, Victor Dover’s work combines design excellence with professional pragmatism for urban planning projects around the world: revitalizing traditional towns, building iconic new places, designing pedestrian-friendly streets, and growing neighborhoods.

Scenic Jacksonville’s Great Cities Symposium is an annual program that aims to inform, educate, and create community conversations about the vibrancy of peer cities and how Jacksonville can learn from their successes and challenges.

Join AIA Orlando for the annual YAF Firm Crawl! Students and young professionals will have the opportunity visit architecture and design firms in downtown Orlando, gain insight into firm culture, explore different project types, and learn about the many career paths within the profession. After the crawl, a happy hour at A La Cart will offer a relaxed setting to network with professionals.

Hello, Orlando CityLab students! We’re so excited to kick off TEA@UF (Themed Environment Association club) for Spring 2026, and we’d love for you to join us! 🎉
Whether you’re passionate about themed environments, storytelling through design, immersive experiences, or just curious to learn more, this club can be very fun to be part of and learn about themed spaces in the industry!
Our first TEA kickoff meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 5pm at the Orlando CityLab classroom. At this meeting, we’ll be sharing our plans for the semester, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved. Plus, we’ll be playing “Romantic Melody Bingo”—with prizes and treats!

UF Master of Architecture students from CityLab Jacksonville participated in a workshop and charrette focused on housing design and health in Jacksonville’s Historic Eastside.
“Sustainable & Supportive Housing for Salutogenic Health: Historic Eastside Housing and Health Community Design Charrette.”
sponsored by the LS3P Foundation and hosted by UF College of Design, Construction, and Planning and FIBER.
January 29th from 10 am - 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Oakland.
