We were thrilled to host the amazing 11th and 12th grade students from Trinity Lutheran School today! It was a joy to see their excitement as they explored the diverse programs we offer. We hope the hands-on experiences in healthcare, engineering, culinary arts, and more inspired them to envision their future career paths. A huge thank you to Principal Hammond, Ms. Alvarez, and Ms. Jessica for making this wonderful trip possible. We can’t wait to see where their dreams take them! 🌟"

We are grateful to our principals, assistant principals and additional staff who worked to service 11 school shelters during the storm as well as the clean up after Hurricane Milton.

UPDATE: OCPS schools will now be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Oct. 9-11) due to Hurricane Milton.

10/7 11:30 a.m. Hurricane Milton Update:

OCPS is continuing to monitor and track Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest forecast, all after-school activities are canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 8 with the exception of after-school care which will end by 6 p.m. All schools and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 and Thursday, Oct. 10.

The closure is due to the projected impacts of the hurricane in Orange County and some schools will be used as shelters. We will continue to update you as we receive additional information.

Throughout the storm the district will send messages to OCPS families by phone, email and text, as well as updates on district social media pages and on ocps.net regarding school operations.
