💕 This Friday: Pink & Pages for Dolly 📖

Like so many around the world, we’re heartbroken by the loss of Dolly Parton — a music icon who also helped generations of children discover a love of reading.

Dolly understood what we see in our classrooms every day: reading can open doors, spark imaginations and change lives. That’s why this Friday, Aug. 28, we’re turning OCPS PINK in her honor!

Students, teachers, staff, families and our community are invited to wear pink and spend at least 10 minutes reading.

Through her Imagination Library, Dolly helped put more than 300 million books into the hands of children around the world, including right here in Orange County.

So grab something pink, pick up a book and turn a few pages for Dolly. And be sure to DM us your Pink & Pages pics tomorrow!

Pershing soccer will play host to Walker Middle School on Monday, August 31st. Both teams will be kicking off cluster play with high hopes for the season. The girls play at 5:30 followed directly by the boys.

Tickets can be purchased with cash or through the GoFan link below.

NJHS will have a snack stand with pizza, hotdogs, and all the goodies.
