It is with deep sadness that the Dr. Phillips community shares the passing of senior Vaihola (Vai) Amone, who passed away due to medical complications.
Vai was a cherished member of the Senior class, known for his warm spirit and love of baseball. His presence brought light to our hallways and classrooms, and he will be deeply missed by students, faculty, and staff alike.
Our heartfelt thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies go out to Vai’s family, loved ones, and friends during this extraordinarily painful time.
No one should face grief alone. Students and families can reach out to our school counselors and school social worker. Community members can access support through the 988 Lifeline, The Crisis Intervention Line (407-720-0281), Mobile Crisis Response (call 211), Su***de Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK 8255), the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), and local grief services at AdventHealth and Orlando Health.
Our Student Services department had a great first week helping our Panthers with their schedules! We’re glad our students are back on campus!
The elective change request form is available on ParentSquare from now until 7:00 AM on Tuesday - students interested in requesting an elective change need to fill out the form. Requests will not be processed through emails. All elective change requests that can be processed will be finished this week.

Lunches are based on the location of your 5th period class. It is important that students continue to check their schedules on Skyward to be aware of any changes that may impact their lunch period.
