🌿💚 Hawks are making a difference! 💚🌿

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Year 2 of the OCPS Green School Recognition Program! Cypress Springs Elementary has earned a School of Promise Certificate and, this year, received a $200 Conservation Award! 🎉🌎

This achievement reflects the commitment of our students and staff to making a positive difference for our school and our environment. We are so proud of our Hawks for continuing to learn, grow, and make a difference!

A very special THANK YOU to Mrs. Lauzon for her leadership, dedication, and hard work in helping Cypress Springs reach this exciting milestone.

🦅📚 Our Hawks are SOARING in Literacy! 📚🦅
We are so proud of our Cypress Springs teachers who continue to invest in their craft and find new ways to help our students become confident, engaged readers! ❤️💚

Several of our teachers are currently participating in the Structured Literacy Lab, a high-impact professional learning experience designed to strengthen and refine the way we teach reading.
We are especially proud that most of our Cypress Springs teachers have participated in this valuable literacy training. Their commitment to professional growth is making a difference in classrooms every day!

Our teachers continue to amaze us with the incredible reading growth and data we are seeing across our school. More importantly, they are creating classrooms where students are excited to read, eager to learn, and engaged in literacy! 📖✨

Thank you to our dedicated teachers for continuing to learn, grow, and do whatever it takes to help our Hawks succeed.
When our teachers grow, our students soar! 🦅🚀📚

Our halls were full of smiles, cheers and a few happy tears today as we welcomed back some of our former Hawks for the Class of 2026 graduation walk at CSE.

Watching these seniors walk the same halls they once did as little kids was really special for our staff and students. Our current Hawks truly loved cheering them on!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Thank you for coming back to the nest before you SOAR into your next adventure!

🎉📚 Another Quarter Millionaire has soared into our nest! 🦅✨

Let’s give a huge round of applause to Adam, one of our amazing second graders, who has read over 250,000 words this school year! 🎉

Adam consistently dives into chapter books, and his dedication to reading has truly paid off—building an incredible mountain of words through hard work and perseverance.

We are so incredibly proud of Adam’s commitment and love for reading. 💙📖
