We are a nonprofit organization formed for the purpose of championing women’s professional growth and enrichment in the aviation maintenance fields by providing worldwide opportunities for sharing information and networking, educating, fostering a sense of community and increasing public awareness of women in the industry on an international level. Ours is a virtual community open to all AWAM members who want to enjoy chapter participation from anywhere. Our primary modes of communication and connection are via email, internet and phone, punctuated by visits, community outreach adventures, and convening at events.
