Thanks to your generosity, we were able to treat our teachers and staff to a Welcome Back breakfast and lunch, plus a special Newcomer’s breakfast to kick off the year right. We’re so grateful for local partners who show up for our school community. Thank you! 💜🤘🏼💛

Final Day of Meet the Board

Rachel Simon is our President, and she’s the glue holding this whole board together! Her role means supporting every one of us, partnering closely with school administration, and keeping everything focused on what matters most — our students and teachers. We’re endlessly grateful for her leadership and can’t wait to see what this board builds together this year! She’s going to make her final year at Sunrise an amazing one for all of us. 😭

Day Seven of Meet the Board

Jessica Yamonaco, Vice President 1, is our numero uno fundraiser! Her role involves raising money and hunting donations for our PTA, and she crushes it. She is pleasantly persistent and pretty impossible to say no to, and we are so thankful to have her skills on our board!

Alexx McCarthy, Vice President 2, is twice as nice! VP2 oversees membership, so don’t be surprised when she’s asking you about when you’re going to join the PTA.
You’ll see her at the front desk of Sunrise, welcoming our students, if she’s not at Disney!
