Trace 2nd graders have been learning about sea turtles and their life cycle. They combined what they learned with art and used a variety of mediums - oil pastels and water colors and topped it with Epsom salt to draw out moisture and create texture! The office has a wonderful ocean/beach-ey feel with them decorating the wall so beautifully 🐢

On this beautiful day, we observed the National Day of Prayer, which is held on the first Thursday of May. It is an invitation for us to pray for the nation and exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer and mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. It is based on the understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reference for the God of the Bible.

It was an eventful couple of weeks as the whole school participated in Coin Wars, a fundraiser for the Panama mission trip! The winners, third grade and sixth grade raised the most, and enjoyed a slurpee for their efforts!

These 1st graders are thriving with their reading skills! It’s always a joy to witness. Our K-3rd graders utilize an Abeka curriculum for reading that is comprehensive and biblically based.

Happy Friday! Our 1st grade class did an excellent job presenting the Archer and the Sun - Kamishibai style story, followed by a presentation by our Head of School to help us understand how we are a part of HIS story during Family Time. Family time is a time that we all gather to celebrate birthdays, watch class presentations, and explore topics that help develop our faith in Christ.
