The LaVene Family Trail of Nightmares, a haunted walking trail

We finally have our brochures for our yard display. Please come and see all the scenes that we are making ready for viewing starting October 30 through November 1 can still use volunteers from now to next Wednesday to help finish the larger items where are all my volunteers from celebration I haven’t seen you in years. It’d be a good way to reconnect!

Good news!!! The LaVene Family Yard of Nightmares is back on!!! Jan is better and able to walk and my son wanted to have my display at his new home in Longwood, albeit smaller display because only 6 days to put up. We will have a display at my sons house in Sweetwater , 211 Timbercove circle Longwood, FL 32779, The giant pumpkin will be there for photos, a Wednesday scene and witches , Chucky and his girlfriends and maybe more depending what we can get out between me caring for my loved one and doing most myself. We could use help putting up this week anytime! . Please come and visit! Very safe neighborhood to trick or treat. We picked up a new charity to sponsor : Franklin’s Friends Rescue taking donations.

I have some sad news but family comes first. I am canceling my Halloween display for this year at my cousins house as we have done for the past 12 years. My wife, Jan, had a terrible fall while we were on vacation in New York State, and broke her hip and will need my attention and constant care for next 2-3 months. I may do a Halloween at Christmas display or a smaller one at my sons house, it also would not be wise to put out display because the hurricane is coming and another expected on the 17th. Hopefully next year will be the best ever!!!

I have a request to anyone who lives in the central Florida Orlando area, looking for large pieces of styrofoam or blocks of foam, I use these to carve decorations for our charity Halloween display. We had over 1000 kids and family attendees last year, and each year, I try to make it better and unique, any help would be appreciated if anyone has contacts here in packing industry or other companies that use packing foam that they’re going to throw away. Thx!

Celebrating our 10th year at this address in College Park. In the center of Orlando Florida. It’ll be available for viewing October 30 through November 1, the 31st and 1st will be the best, as we are always putting up new stuff every day. Anyone that has teenagers that need community service hours please contact me at the email listed we always need to help. Please come and donate what you can or items for our rescue! Happy Halloween! The LaVene family trail of nightmares is now a display back in college park after two days of work it's coming along nicely come one come all bring your kids yourselves your teens free glow necklaces free scares! 2603 Harrison Ave Orlando, Fl 32804 October 30th and 31st!

LAVENE HALLOWEEN DISPLAY, come and see animatronics, spiders, Freddy and Jason, much more, free glow necklaces and other items from Dusk till late, taking donations if u can for Rescuing Animals in Need! A lot of props from the trail, some made by master prop builder, the late Evan Moore.

Unfortunately, due to technical situations, Hunter's Creek will not be hosting the Trail this year. I am going back to basics like I began years ago and we are setting up props and scenes in College Park. 2603 Harrison ave, orlando.....on the corner of w Winter park st, please tell your friends and come visit, we are supporting the charity R.A.I.N. Rescuing Animals In Need and will take donations.
We can always use help setting up too, it's for a good cause and for the kids!
