We honor the legacy of Dolly Parton, a country music legend passionate about inspiring children to read books.
🦋 🎶 📚 🤗

Dolly understood something we believe deeply at the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County: a book gives a child more than a story. It gives them imagination, possibility, and a doorway to a bigger world. Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she has helped put 300 million books and counting into the hands of children across the world, creating a legacy that will live on for generations.

At ELCOC, we are proud to carry that same belief forward: every child deserves the opportunity to discover the magic of reading.

A special thank you to The Orlando Chapter of FAMU National Alumni Association, Inc. and Bold Kulture Beauty for hosting this wonderful event!

💚 Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R): Helping families find affordable, high-quality child care.

💛 Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK): Free early education for 4-year-olds to help prepare them for kindergarten.

Did you know 🤔
Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is free for all four-year-olds residing in the state, regardless of parental income.

Four-year-olds who attend VPK get a jump start on kindergarten learning with early literacy, math, language, and social skills.

The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County administers Florida’s VPK educational program in Orange County.

Parents can select from private or public providers.

Did you know…the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County sets children up for lifelong success? 💚 🧡 💛

Our network collaborates with 4️⃣ 3️⃣ 6️⃣ childcare providers that offer VPK, also known as Voluntary Prekindergarten Education.

Data shows that children enrolled in VPK are more likely to be prepared for kindergarten.

Kindergarten readiness increases a child's chances of passing 3rd-grade assessments, making them 80% more likely to graduate high school.
