Following Mass today, our priests visited classrooms throughout campus to bless our students, teachers, desks, backpacks, and learning spaces. What a wonderful way to begin a new year with God’s blessing upon our school community as we prepare for another year of learning and growth!

Tears & Cheers is always a special way to start the year! 💚🦁

Our PK3–Kindergarten families kicked off the school year together at our annual Tears & Cheers event. A huge thank you to the moms of our Home & School Association for hosting this beloved tradition and creating a space for our youngest Lions’ families to connect, encourage one another, and celebrate this exciting new chapter.

We had a wonderful gathering of more than 150 new Diocese of Orlando Catholic Schools teachers yesterday at Bishop Moore.

Together, we celebrated the unique gifts each teacher will bring to their school community this year. Though we are many, we are one body in Christ, each called to use our gifts for the good of our students. (Romans 12:4-6)

🙏 Join me in praying for them as they begin this new year and embrace the ministry of Catholic education.

Today our faculty gathered for the Diocesan Kickoff Event, where we celebrated some very special honors.

Congratulations to Mrs. Johnson, our Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Tastepe, our Staff Member of the Year! Chosen by their peers, these outstanding women embody the dedication, joy, and Christ-like spirit that make Holy Family such a special place.

We are also incredibly honored that Holy Family Catholic School received the St. Teresa of Calcutta Service Award for the 2025–2026 school year. This diocesan award recognizes one PreK-8 school each year for its exceptional commitment to service, compassion, and the works of mercy.

We are so proud of our faculty, staff, and entire school community for living our faith each day. Congratulations, Lions! 🦁

A Diocesan Honor for Holy Family 🕊️

We are incredibly honored to share that Holy Family Catholic School has been named the recipient of the St. Teresa of Calcutta Service Award for the 2025–2026 school year!

Presented annually by the Diocese of Orlando Office of Catholic Schools, this award recognizes one PreK–8 school for its outstanding commitment to service, compassion, and the works of mercy.

This recognition reflects the hearts of our entire Holy Family community. Together, our students, families, faculty, and staff strive each day to put our faith into action through joyful service to others.
