On a Day Like Today ~ June 18, 2025. HM King Charles III, his consort HM Queen Camilla, HRH William, The Prince of Wales, TRHs The Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh, HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, Mrs. Zara Tindall, Mr. Mike Tindall, Lady Sarah Chatto, Mr. Daniel Chatto, TRHs Duke & Duchess of Gloucester, and Lady Gabriella Kingston (née Windsor) attended Day 2 of the Royal Ascot Races. Also in attendance were Mrs. Carole Middleton, mother of HRH Catherine, The Princess of Wales, and Mrs. Middleton's daughter-in-law, Alizee Middleton (née Thevenet).

The Princess of Wales, who was still recuperating from Cancer treatments, was originally scheduled to attend the event. However earlier in the day it was announced she would not be in attendance.

The Royal Ascot is Britain's most valuable race meeting, with millions of pounds in prize money. About 500 horses race across the five days and the races are broadcast to audiences in almost 200 territories around the world. The event has evolved from the first four-day race meeting held at Ascot in 1768 though the meetings as they are known today started to take shape with the introduction of The Gold Cup in 1807.

Each of the five days of Royal Ascot begins with the Royal Procession at 2pm, when the Monarch and other members of the royal family arrive down the straight mile in the royal Landaus, accompanied by the playing of the National Anthem and the raising of the Royal Standard. This tradition was started in 1825 by George IV.
