I start with a reading assessment.

Before we spend a single session together, I want to know exactly where your child is struggling and why. Then every lesson is built around that, not a generic curriculum, not guesswork.

Hi, I'm Genesis. I'm a Florida certified teacher with a Master's in Reading, and I teach reading and writing live, online, one-on-one, to homeschool and private school students in grades K-12.

If you have already tried other things and nothing has stuck, you are not alone. That is usually a sign the real issue hasn't been found yet.

Where your child might fit:
📚 Foundational Phonics (K-3). Your child goes from guessing at words to reading with real confidence.
✍️ Reading & Writing Workshop (3-12). Comprehension and writing built around articles they actually want to read, chosen from their own interest survey.
📖 Novel Study (3-12). Deeper analysis and real writing skill, and your child picks their book from three I choose for them.

Each track is $650 for 8 sessions, with the reading assessment included.

Not ready for a package yet? A single session is $125, 50 minutes, no commitment. I also offer dyslexia screening with a written summary and live results review ($125), and scholarship and curriculum consultations starting at $85.

You will get progress notes after every session, so you always know where things stand.

I am excited to share more about what I have been building through ClearPath Learning Academy. 📚

After years of teaching reading, I wanted to create something that goes beyond worksheets and generic assignments.

My personalized reading and writing programs are built around each student's interests, reading level, and goals. Students are matched with carefully selected books and guided through engaging novel studies that help strengthen:

✓ Reading comprehension
✓ Critical thinking and analysis
✓ Evidence-based discussions
✓ Written responses and structured writing
✓ Confidence explaining their ideas

The goal is not just for students to finish a book. It is for them to understand what they read, think deeply about it, and communicate their ideas with confidence.

Programs are available for grades 3–12 and taught one-on-one online by me, a Florida certified teacher with an M.Ed. in Reading.

4 sessions: $350
8 sessions: $650

If your child is struggling in reading, don’t just have them “read more.”

Focus on:
• Breaking words into syllables
• Practicing patterns (like -tion, -ing, -ed)
• Reading short passages and discussing meaning

Small, targeted practice is much more effective than just adding more reading time.
