Orlando senior chosen as U.S. Presidential Scholar Sharanya Chatterjee from Freedom High School is one of 161 scholarship recipients nationwide

Congratulations Sharanya!

Florida high school senior achieves perfect scores on SAT, ACT Freedom High School’s Sharanya Chatterjee achieved a perfect SAT score of 1,600 and a perfect ACT score of 36.

Congratulations to our Super Scholars! OCPS recognizes its seniors who have been accepted into the top 20 colleges and universities in the nation, as well as U.S. service academies.

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Antmann who has been selected as Quarterfinalist for the Recording Academy and Grammy Musuem’s Music Educator Award.

Kyle Nembhard and Jovanni Velez represented Freedom High School at Disney’s Imagination Leadership Camp at EPCOT on May 10th. Here is a picture of them with leaders from Oak Ridge and Cypress Creek.

Congratulations to Freedom Senior and OCPS Super Scholar Sharanya Chatterjee who has been named a 2024 US Presidential Scholar.

Sharanya is 1 of 161 Seniors in the United States to receive this incredible academic honor. She will be honored by US Secretary of Education, Dr. Miguel Cardona, at a virtual ceremony in June.

Good luck to our Smash Ultimate team who will be competing for the State Championship tomorrow at Windermere HS at 2:00 pm against Flagler Palm Coast HS.

The team had a 6-2 record during the regular season, Ryan had an impressive 75% win percentage over 33 games and Dylan dominated with an 80% win rate over 20 games.
