West Lakes Early Learning Center

Learning doesn’t only happen during circle time or inside the classroom, it happens all throughout the day.

Our little friends have been loving the new Farmers Market in the lobby, stopping by to “shop,” exchanging play money, and exploring their grocery store items. Parents join in the fun, taking a few moments to delight in play.

Through play, children are building language, social skills, problem-solving, and early math concepts. Because it’s never too early to begin learning about money, choices, and how the world around us works.

Our efforts are compounded by our community quarterback Lift Orlando. We have generous donors, like Rolle Foundation who provide us with books, and Ms. Deborah and Mr. Ron from the AdventHealth Child Life family who stop by with truck loads of toys and it’s not even Christmas!

Our students learn how to be good stewards with their money using the play banks, play money, and incentives from Addition Financial Credit Union.

Of course, there’s so many more partners
to name, but that’ll turn into a Mrs. Myra children’s book. In this work, it really does take a village. Just know we love you and we’re very grateful for all of you, and all you do.
