Monarch alum Elliot Blomquist came to speak to the 2nd graders about his experience volunteering in Colorado last summer on a wolf preserve. And he gave them all Fahlo bracelets so they can track their own wolves!

Congratulations to Joshua Lin, our Eighth Grade Rotary Student of the Year!
Joshua is the definition of an exceptional student — shining academically, leading with integrity, and bringing genuine kindness and friendship to everyone around him.
We are so proud to share that Joshua was honored by the College Park Rotary, who recognized his outstanding qualities and presented a financial donation in his name — which Joshua generously directed to our very own Student Council.
The future is incredibly bright for this remarkable young man, and we can’t wait to see everything he accomplishes.
Congratulations, Joshua — you make Monarch proud!

Kindergarten Explores the Wonders of Leu Gardens!
Our Kindergarten students embarked on a wonderful field trip to Leu Gardens this week, and what an adventure it was! Students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of flora and fauna, sparking curiosity and a love of the natural world along the way.
A highlight of the day was a visit to the beautiful butterfly garden, where students were delighted to spot quite a few Monarch butterflies fluttering all around them. It was a magical moment that brought their classroom learning to life in the most memorable way.
The day wrapped up perfectly with a picnic lunch on the lawn, giving students a chance to relax and reflect on everything they had discovered. It was a truly wonderful day filled with exploration, wonder, and joy. We are so grateful for the incredible learning experiences that field trips like this provide for our youngest Monarch students!
