As an Asian-interest sorority, the sisters of alpha Kappa Delta Phi Syracuse chapter condemn the acts of violence and hate against the Asian community. We are dedicated to promoting equality for all people, fundraising to support those in the Asian community, and raising awareness in our community and beyond.

In the beginning, I decided to rush aKDPhi because I wanted to connect to more girls that shared the same culture as me. However, as I began to get to know them more, I realized that these people are genuinely rooting for you to succeed in every way. The sisterhood continuously pushes me to elevate and has allowed me to form authentic bonds that will last even after I graduate.

As an international Asian interest sorority, we work to promote Asian awareness on campus and in our communities. We have pride in our diverse backgrounds and embrace our cultures while also spreading awareness about issues of the Asian community 🌸
Fun fact: Our chapter has sisters from outside the US in Thailand and South Korea!

Each year on January 31st, we honor our fallen sister 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝒁𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒂 from San Jose State University. She lived with compassion, cheerfulness and bright smiles.

alpha Kappa Delta Phi honors her memory by wearing baby blue, her favorite color, and purple ribbons on this day. We stand together to raise violence awareness and to speak out on this issue that affect womxn every day.
