Congratulations to 6th grader Matthew A for representing Orlando Science East at the prestigious MathCON National Competition in Chicago on May 24! While he did not place this year, qualifying for and competing at the national level is an incredible achievement in itself. Way to go Orca! We are proud of you!

Orca staff had a two day post planning to celebrate the major accomplishments of the school year. Thank you to Principal Akpinar for grilling a delicious lunch on Thursday as we packed up for year’s end. Sending a lot of love to our staff as we said goodbye at our annual Wekiva Island luncheon. It’s a wrap!

Congratulations to our Staff Of the Year: Mr. Quant, our Orca of the Year: Mr. Taunton, our K-4 Teacher of the Year: Ms. Hurley, and our 5-7 Teacher of the Year: Ms. Ratani. Thank you for embodying the core values that make our campus incredible. In addition, thank you to all the amazing staff that bring immeasurable greatness to our campus. Go Orcas!
