We’re spending the summer planning, partnering, and preparing for even more opportunities to support young readers. There are exciting things on the horizon, and we’ll be sharing them right here.

School might be out for the summer, but FLY is still in. We will be distributing books to Title I schools in Central Florida. Click the link in our bio to register. We have been waiting on a shipment of books to put up our May dates, so to make up for it, we are doubling up and coming in 2 days each week for the next 2 weeks. Title I school teachers in Central Florida can sign up on the sign up genius to pick up free books to send home with their students. We know how important it is for them to have books at home to stop the "summer slide" of regressing in their reading skills over the summer break.

You must be able to come to our office to pick up books between 3-6 pm and sign up before the date that you want to come in.

We just received 100 books from F.A.R.M.S and author Jillian Hishaw, and they are wonderful!

These are three science books for kids K-2nd grade that take you through adventures that Wally the Worm has exploring the layers of the Earth and the sea. Jillian Hishaw makes it fun for kids to learn about our environment. The books include activities for kids at the end of the books. Thank you so much for your donation!

April has arrived, and this month’s pick up dates for all Title 1 schools are open! Click on the link to register. Can’t make it this month? Fill out the form for the Magpie Book Bin, and our team will compile a collection of used books for you and your class. The link is in our bio as well. We’ll see you soon!

The dates are up for the April Free Book Pickups for Title I School Teachers!

Our new dates for April are:

Monday, April 8
Wednesday, April 13
Monday, April 22
Wednesday, April 27

There are slots each half hour from 3 - 6 pm for five teachers. You must sign up on the sign up genius form to pick up books before the day of the pickup. Empty slots will be deleted the day of the pickup.

You may pick out both new and used books to give to your students. While we must limit the number of new books that you can choose, we have a very large number of used books right now, and you are welcome to take as many of those as you can use. Right now we have enough new books to give out 2 for each student.
