Congratulations to our 10 All-County Band members for outstanding performances yesterday!! They represented LBV incredibly well. It’s great to be a Viper!

What a great week for the Viper Vanguard!

Jazz 1 had a wonderful performance at State Jazz MPA, earning the first SUPERIOR rating at the state level in program history! Additionally, 22 of our students earned superior and excellent ratings at State Solo and Ensemble.

Our Winter Guard then had an AMAZING performance at FFCC championships, earning the gold medal and Class Champion in AAA!! So proud of all of our groups.

Great things are happening at LBV!!

Congratulations to both Lake Buena Vista Jazz Ensembles for their amazing performances today at Jazz MPA! In their very first MPA performance , Viper Jazz 2 earned an overall Excellent rating and had a great performance! Viper Jazz 1 earned straight SUPERIOR ratings in an electrifying performance today earning the chance to participate in State MPA in March!! Great job Viper Jazz!!!

Congratulations to the LBV Winter Guard for their first place showing at FFCC premiere on Saturday!! The team had a great run and are off to a great start this year. Great job!!

On the way back from an incredible trip to the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl Festival. The kids did an amazing job! We enjoyed many sights in and around Atlanta during our stay and gave performances in concert band, jazz band, a parade performance and participated in a 500+ member mass band pregame performance combining with band students from Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Georgia and Florida.

We were fortunate to take home Grand Champion honors in both Concert Band Performance and Jazz Band performance!! Huge congratulations to member Jason Ramirez, who earned honors for the outstanding soloist in the entire festival for his work on Guitar in Jazz band!! We also had a successful first ever parade!!

For the first out of state trip for our program, we couldn’t be more proud of how the kids represented themselves, our school and our community. Great job Vanguard, and go Vipers!

We have had an AMAZING start to our year together. Our program is growing and we need your help! We have needs for instruments, supplies, music purchases, assessment fees and more. We are also taking our first trip out of state at the end of December to participate in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl festival and some of our families need help making their final payments.

Any little bit you can give will go a long way to help some awesome kids!!

Congratulations to sophomore Trombonist Collier Alexander-Sawyer for his successful audition into the Florida music Educators Association All-State Concert Band! We are so proud of Collier and know he will represent the Vanguard and LBV in amazing fashion at FMEA in January!!
