Loving the new bins at both the Winter Park Campus and the School of Public Safety. These Recycle Across America bins were purchased, in part, as a result of Valencia's participation in Chevrolet's Carbon Reduction Initiative.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. At Valencia’s School of Public Safety, where we train about 200 recruits each year in one of the region’s most physically and academically demanding programs, our hearts are heavy as we remember officers who have died in the line of duty.
