I’ve never seen him type a word before. When I asked him to tell me something about his break, I expected him to respond, but when he pulled the keyboard up, it was unexpected. So I just waited. He typed “M@ana” (he also added a 2, but that was after I took the picture). The @ symbol was an interesting choice for the O, especially since he had to choose a different part of the keyboard to access that. I pulled up a picture of Moana 2 in response to him typing it as I said, “You saw Moana 2!? I bet you enjoyed the music.” As soon as I pulled the picture up, I saw it. The @ symbol made complete sense. I had never seen him type a word before, but today, I saw him type a word exactly as he saw it. It’s pretty perfect.

That’s a wrap on ATIA 2025! We haven’t been to ATIA in a while, but we had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge, stories, expertise, and experiences! We enjoyed the conversations at our booth and the sessions with so much great information! And of course we loved the time with each other!

Today is Speak for Yourself's 13th birthday! We had "finished" it, uploaded it, and were in the height of holiday planning when we got an email saying it was approved. It's one of those moments in my life that I remember in all of the beautiful, emotional detail. These last 13 years have been a journey, and so many of you have been on it with us. Thank you for 13 special, amazing years, and here's to many more!
