We handed out this year’s jerseys… and then it was straight back to work on the robots.

No distractions. No slowing down. Just a room full of students building, testing, fixing, and getting ready for competition.

The jerseys are looking good, but the robots are the real show.

This month, we are excited to recognize Coach Hayes as our Bulldog of the Month for Hardwork!

Coach Hayes plays an important role in our school community, both in and out of the classroom. She teaches 7th and 8th grade English while also coaching six robotics teams through our Ignite program. Beyond robotics, she sponsors the Newspaper Club and co-sponsors the Broadcast Committee.

Coach Hayes is also known for her positive attitude, high spirits, and willingness to jump in wherever she is needed. Whether she is in the classroom, in the robotics pits, or supporting one of our student activities, she brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. And if you ever need a trivia partner, she is the person to have on your team; Coach Hayes is our resident Trivia Champion!

📢 Optional Open Practice – Tuesday & Wednesday

Since school won’t be back in session until Friday, I’ll be offering optional open practice Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM–3 PM.

Students are welcome to come in, work with their teammates, and get some extra practice time in.

Please:
• Notify me through ParentSquare when your student arrives and leaves.
• Bring your own lunch.
• Coordinate with teammates ahead of time.

This is completely optional—just an opportunity to get out of the house, work together, and have some fun! 🤖

Byting Bulldogs Summer Practice: Day One!

What a great start to our summer season! Today, our members were introduced to the new game, learned about our team expectations, and got their brand-new kits set up and ready for action.

This was all about building a strong foundation as we gear up for an exciting summer of learning, teamwork, and growth. We can't wait to see how much everyone grows over the coming weeks.

As our group of robotics enthusiasts put the final touches on this season's event, we kept coming back to two simple goals:

✅ Make it FUN and create a memorable experience for every team that signs up.

✅ Showcase robotics to our community and help more people discover what these amazing students can do.

We believe robotics competitions should be more than just matches and custom trophies; they should be exciting, welcoming, and something students remember long after the season ends.

We're incredibly excited to bring this event to life and can't wait to see teams, families, volunteers, and community members join us for an amazing day of innovation, creativity, and friendly competition.
