8th graders picked up trash during homeroom today as an act of service. 💛🖤🗑️🖤💛

In just 20 minutes, fourteen 8th graders picked up almost 10 pounds of trash from our soccer field and playgrounds! 💙💚🌎💚💙

Whew! Our first of the 2026-27 school year was an undeniable success! With multiple volunteers “making waves of impact”, our campus garden areas are ready and waiting to greet students and families in just a few short days.

Humongous thank yous to everyone who showed up and made an impact. Our Arbor Ridge K8 - OCPS community and family works hard!

We are looking for volunteers to help us get our gardens back in tip top shape in time for Back to School! This Sunday, August 2nd, we will be hosting the first 26-27 Campus Beautification Day from 8-11 AM.

We will be working in the agriculture garden, in the vegetable gardens, and in the food forest WEEDING all the growth from the summer.

Please plan to bring gloves to protect your hands and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

We are also looking for a few pop up tents to help provide shade.

We’re proud to announce that Arbor Ridge K8 - OCPS has LEVELED UP to 🩶 silver status 🩶 as an Everglades Foundation Champion School in only our second year of applying!

An Everglades Champion School encourages integration of Everglades Literacy into curriculum, promotes Everglades interdisciplinary projects and field experiences, and Everglades community and culture.

As one of only FOUR Champion Schools from Orange County Public Schools, Arbor Ridge has set the bar for excellence and knowledge of this great National Park that has its headwaters right here in Orlando.

Club SERVE members participated in this year’s Charity Recycling Service t-shirt design contest. Unknown to the students, CRS decided to create a shirt for each student’s entry! How awesome!
