On Wednesday, September 23, our entire campus will be out serving the community during the 11th annual Heart of a Highlander Day of Service. Last year, more than 1,700 Highlanders participated to help 45+ nonprofit organizations and contributed over 5,000 service hours in a single day. We can't wait to see the impact our Highlanders make this year!

Our senior parents gathered over coffee and beignets to celebrate how far their students have come and all that lies ahead. The realization that this is their final year at Lake Highland brought tears, but also immense pride in everything these seniors have accomplished along the way.

School leadership shared a heartfelt wish for our students: to grow into people who are excited to come home, who cherish time with their families, and who care for them in the years ahead. They spoke to the importance of our Highlanders leaving Lake Highland as well-rounded individuals who are as prepared civically as they are academically.

A heartfelt thank you to our senior parent volunteers for giving their time and energy to organize this event. Your dedication and contributions are what make moments like these so meaningful and unforgettable!

On the first day of school, parents of our PreK and Kindergarten students came together at our beloved Boohoo Yahoo coffee. For some, it was their child’s very first drop-off: a milestone in itself. The comfort of finding community, especially on days like these, is invaluable.

Nessie Nights are back, and we’re serving up volleyball first! On these special spirit nights, our Lower School students get to meet Nessie and the varsity players, enjoy fun giveaways, and join in during pregame activities.

The Class of 2027 received their jerseys at today’s Senior Surprise! This beloved tradition marks the start of a special milestone for our seniors. As the year unfolds, each jersey will become a reflection of their high school experience, with patches representing the clubs, sports, extracurriculars, and activities that make their senior journey unique.

Congratulations, seniors—wear those jerseys with pride! And a special thank you to our incredible parent volunteers for helping make this tradition so memorable for the Class of 2027.

Welcome home, Highlanders!

Our Lower School halls came alive as new and returning families joined us for Orientation Day. Students had the opportunity to meet their teachers, explore classrooms, reconnect with friends, discover new spaces, and receive their personalized backpacks that they’ll be using throughout the school year.

We loved seeing the excitement on their faces today, and can’t wait to see them for the first day of school tomorrow!
