๐๐ Car Rider Line Tips: Teamwork & Patience Make the Dream Work! ๐๐
Hey Northlake Park Community School families! As we roll into the new school year, our top priority at OCPS is keeping every single one of our Bucks safe while making morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up as smooth as possible.
Principal Mrs. Archie and our dedicated team have put together a quick video reminder of our Car Rider Loop procedures! Check out the video above and keep these simple tips in mind to help keep the line moving safely:
K-1 students exit the building first. If your child is in 3rd through 5th grade, try not to be at the front of the line as this back up the entire car line.
All parents should be in the car line no later than 3:15.
๐ Hang Your Car Tag Clearly: Make sure your school-issued pick-up tag is displayed on your rearview mirror so our staff can call your student quickly.
๐ฑ Put Phones Away: Stay alert! Please refrain from using mobile devices while driving in the car loop.
๐ Have Bucks Ready to Roll: Encourage your child to have their backpack packed and ready to exit on the passenger side as soon as your vehicle comes to a complete stop in the drop-off zone.
๐ฆ Stay in Your Vehicle: For safety and efficiency, parents should remain inside the car. Our amazing staff members are always there to help students unload!
๐ Pack Your Patience: The first few weeks of school always bring extra traffic as everyone learns the routine. A extra dash of patience and a friendly wave go a long way in keeping our community safe and positive!
Thank you for working together with us to keep our Bucks safe, happy, and on time every day! ๐ฆโจ
