· INSIGHTS ON WORK AND CREATIVITY FROM THE LIFE OF GENUS MATHEMATICIAN CLAUDE SHANNON 🎯
⠀
Within engineering and mathematics circles, Shannon is a revered figure. At 21, he published what’s been called the most important master’s thesis of all time, explaining how binary switches could do logic and laying the foundation for all future digital computers.
⠀
· At the age of 32, he published A Mathematical Theory of Communication, which Scientific American called “the Magna Carta of the information age.” Shannon’s masterwork invented the bit, or the objective measurement of information, and explained how digital codes could allow us to compress and send any message with perfect accuracy.

NFT🤯
⠀
You might have never heard that word before in your life but suddenly it is everywhere.
⠀
Currently, NFTs are the trending hot topic of the crypto world. CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey is selling his tweet for millions as an NFT, Elon Musk was selling a song about NFT as an NFT and various other artists are making millions (yes millions) by selling strange stuff as NFTs.
⠀
NFT stands for non-fungible token. Like any other non-fungible asset a non-fungible token or NFTs are basically something unique and irreplaceable.
NFT allows you to buy and sell ownership of unique digital items. NFTs are basically blockchain tokens representing a unique digital item. NFT can represent almost anything like art, graphics, music, videos, images, etc.
⠀
NFTs use the same technology that powers Bitcoin i.e. blockchain. But both are completely different things. Bitcoin is a currency and is also fungible as you can trade one bitcoin for another similar one. But NFTs are neither a currency nor they are fungible like Bitcoin.
⠀
Currently, most NFTs in the market works on the Ethereum blockchain. But there are other blockchains as well supporting NFTs.
NFT marketplaces are basically websites where you can buy and sell NFT items. These marketplaces are similar to Amazon. You can easily buy and sell NFTs here just like you can buy something on Amazon.
⠀
NFTs consume a lot of energy which leads to an increase in emissions of greenhouse gases and all this contributes to global warming and other bad environmental issues and this is a topic of controversy regarding the use of NFTs.
⠀
For some people, NFTs are a stupid bubble that has no future. But others claim it to be the future of digital art. NFTs have changed the way people can buy and sell stuff. Current digital art is something gaining attraction in the NFT market.
