Julien is a graduate of the Pathlight HOME Culinary Training Program. But achieving this milestone in his life wasn’t an easy path. When Julien recently earned his culinary certifications, the moment was more than a culmination of eight weeks of training. It represented clarity, resilience and determination after decades of hardship.

A big focus in the culinary program curriculum is refining general life skills. This is done to best ensure our student’s success. Our students will now be equipped with the confidence they need when going for that next big role!

Last week students ditched the pens and papers and got to jump into hands-on training in the kitchen. They learned about one of the most foundational aspects of cooking. Stocks!
With this experience under their belts, students are now able to use this base to create sauces, soups, and as a cooking medium to create other delicious recipes!

Last week another group of students successfully graduated from the Pathlight Kitchen Culinary Training Program, earning themselves four industry certificates including: ServSafe Food Handlers and AHLA Guest Service Gold/Kitchen Cook.
Equipped with the necessary training, knowledge, and experience, these new graduates are ready to jump in the culinary work force, full speed ahead!
