Ms. Shawntia Lee-Emilus is a trailblazing EdTech Founder, Higher Education Consultant, and Community Leader, who specializes in youth engagement, idea innovation, and technology advancement for digital learning.

Originally from Live Oak, FL, Shawntia received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications from Kaplan University and in 2020, graduated from the elite Starter Studio Accelerator Program.

With over 18 years of college advisory experience, Mrs. Emilus has worked with Devry University, Rasmussen College, and Academic Partnerships generating well over $200 million dollars in revenue. Shawntia has successfully raised $100,000 in pre-seed funds to create equity in higher education. She’s been featured on platforms such as Blacknews.com, Best Colleges, and Yahoo Finance... just to name a few.

Additionally, Shawntia is the recipient of the 2021 St. Pete Catalyst BusinessImpact Award and has been recognized as the 2022 Best Innovative Tech Startup! Registration is now open for our third annual College Access Tour!

We're back after 3 years and we've made some changes based on board, parent, and community feedback: we've added community colleges and trade schools to the tour so our youth know that they have options!

We will always have a traditional school option on the tour plus a community college or trade school. For Spring 2023, we're headed to Morgan State University and Prince George's Community College. Register today at collegeaccesstour2023.eventbrite.com! Open to 9th-12th grade students.
