Umatilla High School FCCLA

NLC 2025 is in the books! Students competed in Job Interview, Focus on Children, and Food Innovations. Cindy placed 2nd in the Nation in Job Interview Level 2 and got to receive her award on the National Stage! While in Orlando we had fun visiting Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios too!

UHS FCCLA is in Orlando, Florida for the National Leadership Conference! Students spent the last two days competing in their STAR Events, volunteering as competition evaluators, attending sessions, and exploring the expo! We are excited to get event results tomorrow.

UHS FCCLA members competed at the Oregon State Leadership Conference with great success! We are bringing home 7 National Qualifiers and gold, silver, and bronze medals!

We finished our week at Nationals with some tourist activities, awards sessions, and closing ceremonies. Congratulations to these three senior members for making it to Nationals and playing a big part in making it a great year for UHS FCCLA!!! It has been a great start to the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Seattle!

Arriving Saturday, we attended the opening session of the conference. Sunday and Monday included competing in each of their individual STAR events on one day and each volunteering to be STAR Event Evaluator (a full 8 hours of work!) the other day. Then tonight we made our way to the market, added to the gum wall, and walked the water front. We are looking forward to the couple of days here in Seattle!

Umatilla FCCLA is at the Oregon State Leadership Conference in Portland! Opening session was held at the Moda Center where students heard from a career panel and then got to watch the Trail Blazers vs. NY Knick’s game! We have a full day of competitions tomorrow.
