Lake Nona Middle School Orchestra Please help raise funds for Lake Nona Middle School Orchestra

The OCPS Orchestras will be having Emmy award-winning composer and electric violinist, Mark Wood and electric cellist, Greg Byers, visit for a 3-day workshop as well as a fully produced concert with our students. Mark is a founding member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as well as the inventor of the solid-body electric violin.

This year there will be a total of 10 schools and over 450 students participating, and they will perform an epic program of electrifying rock 'n' roll featuring the music of Mark Wood, Coldplay, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, the Beatles and more.

The concert will be at 5:00PM on Thursday, October 20 at the Apopka Amphitheater.

Good day Orchestra families! Ms. Sell will be playing in a professional orchestra called Encore next weekend. Shows are at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center in the brand new Steinmetz Concert Hall. If you and your family are interested in seeing the show, click the link below for tickets! Shows are Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 19-21.

Come Alive Celebrate 20 years of Encore with a concert full of songs from their favorite movies and musicals – both old and new!
