The difference between being the victim or the creator is in the stories we tell ourselves.

We have the power to re-write our story with every decision we make. We can either allow what has happened to us to dictate what will happen next or we can take the lesson and create a new story. It's all up to us.

Guilt and shame are HEAVY.

Yet we carry it around like a badge of honor. Constantly beating ourselves up about the things we can’t control. Our past experiences or the doubt to what the future may bring.

What would your life look and feel like if you no longer carried that weight?

Don’t rely on motivation to pull you through to the results that you want to create in your life!

Motivation is fleeting! To quote Aristotle "We are what we repeatedly do excellence is not an act it’s a habit"

Don’t let the toddler take over in your life but rely on the habits that you’ve consistently created. Even on the days of "I DON’T WANT TOO!

I saw this quote this morning and wanted to give a shout out to everyone who has had one of those weeks! You are not alone!
Remember the arrow won’t propel its way toward the target by itself!
You are the archer in your life! You can make great things happen by taking the first step and pulling back your bow! Sometimes you will miss the target, so just reach back in your quiver and aim again!

There are only 80 work days left this year🙌!!

What are you doing to achieve your goals with the time left? How are you tracking your goals?

Metrics matter! Chasing results without actually knowing what you’re doing to get there is like putting water in your fuel tank. Your filling it up with something but it won’t get you any where.

⭐️I have challenged myself to start fueling my body with good foods in order to get the results I want to see. Being ruthlessly committed to my fitness was simply not enough. Now I’m working for the results by eating better for myself. Tracking my food intake for the next 80 days will give me the metrics I need to continue to fuel this Maserati! Time to grow!

This is one of my favorite drawers in my kitchen to clean out!
This is daily notes that we give to someone in our family that also includes friends! Every single day I make a deposit of love into one of my relationships to express love, gratitude, and honor!

This quote has stuck with me all week!

My kids are back in school, juggling there own schedules, sports, extracurriculars, friends, and jobs.

The overwhelm is real!

I know as a mom the path ahead of them is uncertain as is mine!

It’s not my job to run interference for them although my instinct says “protect and sometimes control”!

I don’t want to teach them that someone will always swoop in and solve their problems.

I do want to prepare them to face life on their own by having those conversations with them and being available even in those not so convenient moments.

You know the conversations where the eyes are rolling (reminder to self to reach out to my parents and thank them for those 😉)

I want the echoes of influence to linger in their ears as they are adults and long after I am gone.

So don’t just let this be about your kiddos!
