Blue Shirt Friday drawings are back!

Starting Friday, students that wear an Orland blue shirt will get a blue drawing ticket for a prize!

The weekly drawing is sponsored by Fairview Elementary Parent Club! Thank you Parent Club!!! Pictured are prize bags donated by Three Little Birds. There are other donations from Grocery Outlet and 4th Street Ice Cream. Thank you to all the businesses that help our students celebrate school spirit!

Flyers are being prepared for students to take home to order a Fairview shirts. There are many available in all sizes now but more will be here soon. Orders that cannot be fulfilled right away will be filled as soon as possible!

Fairview Elementary needs parents to join our School Site Council (SSC). The group is made of half parents and half school staff. This includes three teachers, one office worker, and the principal. Anyone can come to the meetings, but only members can vote. Members stay on the team for two years. Each year, we make a plan to help students do well in school using special school money. We also look at safety rules and ways for parents to get involved. SSC members are volunteers who want to help our school.

Parents choose the members of the SSC.

If you want to join, your name will be put on a list for people to vote on. Every Fairview parent can vote from August 23 to August 28, 2026. You will get the voting forms through Parent Square.

Our first meeting is on September 8, 2026. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month. Meetings are from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Fairview School Library.

We are very excited about greeting our Falcons today - new and returning!!!!

Students will be able to meet their teachers, then play with friends while parents participate in the Title I Informational Meeting and Back to School Night!

Meet the office staff in the cafeteria to help with your parent data confirmation.

Over flow parking will be available at the fairgrounds. Thank you Glenn County Fair & Fairgrounds for helping our families to participate in our events!

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

The first day of school is on August 10, 2026. (Less than a week away!)

Our Annual Meet and Greet with Back to School Night is on Friday, August 7, 2026 beginning at 2:30 pm. See the attached flyer for more information.
If you have not yet completed the Parent Data Confirmation, please take a couple minutes and complete the process.
Login to your Aeries Portal and follow the prompts to complete the process. If you have more than one student at the district, the process needs to be completed for each student. You can change the student on the top left of the Aeries Portal.
It is critical we have up to date information for your student. The data collected helps report vital statistical information to the state that used to be reported in a longer, lengthier process (no more papers!). This includes contact and health information as well as documents we must legally provide you each year. Each student's account also gives permissions to the teachers and the school about pictures, watching movies and in-district field trips. This information is needed as soon as possible.
If you have set up your account but forgot your password, you can click on the 'forgot password' below the login to get a reset link. Be sure that you are using the email that you provided when opening up your portal account.
If you have not logged in on the account yet, you can search your email for the link using Aeries Parent Portal or you can call the office (530-865-1235) to have us reset the account so you can get a new link.

Call or email the office for questions or if you need help. We do have Chromebooks available in the office to help complete the process during our open hours this week. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 am - 4 pm; Thursday 1:30 pm - 4pm).
