Miss Lilly, our kindergarten teacher, and her family host a Cystic Fibrosis golf outing and fundraiser each August. This year, an LCA staff member won a raffle for the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Joliet Slammers game and graciously gifted the experience back to Miss Lilly’s family.
Last night, they took the field and represented LCA so well! To make the evening even more special, the Slammers catcher invited her two boys to throw a pitch too- creating a memory they will never forget.
And somehow, Miss Lilly also won a bag of rolls along the way! 🥖😂
It was a truly incredible night celebrating an incredible family. We are so grateful for the way the Christensen family continues to inspire our community with their faith, strength, and joy. 💙⚾
