The Orinda City Council is holding a Workshop/Study Session to discuss the Moraga Way–Ivy Drive “No Left Turn” signs NEXT TUESDAY, 2/17 from 5:00-7:00pm.

This workshop will be held in the Sarge Littlehale Community Room, located on the upper level of City Hall at 22 Orinda Way.

If you have an opinion about these signs, please mark your calendars, and let the City Council know how you feel.

The Meeting Agenda will be posted on the City’s website at least 72 hours before the meeting (typically the Thursday before). https://www.cityoforinda.gov/610/Meeting-Agendas

Swimming in leftover Halloween candy? The Others First program at OIS will collect candy this week until noon on Friday 10/7. We will sort and donate the candy to Nova Ukraine, which provides candy to children affected by war. Collection bins will be in the office and in core classes. 💙🐾💙🇺🇸

OIS's Other's First (volunteering club) is hosting a drive for the African Library project. The goal is to collect 1000+ elementary and middle grade books to supply a school in Uganda (they're already preparing the space!) As you clean out your children's libraries, please consider donating books in good condition and dropping them off at OIS. We will have collection boxes in the office October 6th-10th. Our students will organize the books and supply "recommendation" bookmarks for the Ugandan students. Please only donate books in English. Thank you! 💙🐾📚
