🎓 Graduate Spotlight: Tico Schmidt
Today we're proud to celebrate Tico Schmidt, a member of Orinda Academy's Class of 2026!

Tico is known for his kindness, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to inclusion. A thoughtful advocate, he isn't afraid to speak up for those whose voices aren't being heard, making a lasting impact on the Orinda Academy community. With a particular talent for math, Tico brings boundless creativity and curiosity to every challenge, approaching problems with determination and a sharp analytical mind.

This fall, Tico will attend Diablo Valley College, where he'll have the opportunity to explore his interests and discover the path that's right for him.

Congratulations, Tico! Thank you for your compassion, curiosity, and willingness to stand up for others. We know you have an exciting future ahead, and we can't wait to see all you'll accomplish.

Some people wait for the current to carry them. Jonah has always charted his own course. A thoughtful, independent thinker, he's taking a gap year with Dynamy before pursuing his dream of becoming a boat captain at Cal Poly Maritime Academy.

🎬 Congratulations to Orinda Academy Class of 2026 graduate Jack Franklin!

Jack's film, Shadow of Doubt, was selected for this year's Creative Youth Awards.

Reflecting on the experience, Jack shared:
"It was so exciting to be a part of the Creative Youth Awards this year! Though the process of making a five-minute cut of our film was challenging, it ultimately paid off."

We're so proud to see our graduates pursuing their passions and sharing their creative talents with the world. Congratulations, Jack—we can't wait to see what's next!

One of our favorite OA traditions: every graduating senior receives their diploma from a faculty member who knows them personally and shares a few words about their journey. ❤️

It's a reminder that at OA, students are never just a name on a roster. We celebrate who they are, how far they've come, and the unique path they've taken to get here.
