One of our favorite traditions is seeing the incredible bouquets our attendees get to photograph throughout the week. Every single one is thoughtfully designed to fit each shoot specifically. 😍

They’re beautiful, yes.

But what we love even more is watching everyone gather around, cheer each other on, swap ideas, and create together.

That’s the part you can’t capture in a single photo.

There’s so many new faces here so we figured we’d re-introduce ourselves.

Do hey hi, we’re the Roam. A photography education community and retreat space for wedding photographers and creatives who are done pretending they have it figured out.

We run three retreats a year. A styled shoot here and there. Education, coaching, digital products.

But here’s what we’re actually doing.

We’re not packing a week full of content you’ll never use. We’re not handing you a workbook and calling it community. We’re not selling you the highlight reel version of this career.

We’re building the space we couldn’t find when we needed it most. Real talk from people who are still in it.

A community that shows up for each other in the slow seasons and the weird seasons and the seasons where you’re not sure why you started.

The real version of this career. Not the curated one. Not the one that makes you feel behind just by existing.

Nine retreats in, and the thing that still gets us every time isn’t the locations.

It’s the moment, usually somewhere around day two, when everyone just... exhales.

When the performance drops and the real conversations start.

When photographers who flew in as strangers are up until midnight talking about the stuff that actually matters.

That’s what we keep building toward. And we’re not done yet. ❤️‍🔥

Our retreat is officially wrapped and we’re heading home with the fullest hearts. This last week was everything we could have hoped for — late night chats, new friendships, so much laughter, and watching this community continue to grow in the most beautiful way. We’re endlessly grateful for every single person who came and made it what it was. 🫶🏻
