Attention Utah Families,

Azure Fields Charter High School is a Waldorf-inspired high school opening in Utah County. The State Charter School Board, our Authorizer, has asked our community to demonstrate it's support for us to add grades 7 & 8 to our high school program. We have been asked to submit this petition at the State Charter School Board meeting on June 18, 2026.

If you are committed to having your middle schooler attend Azure Fields starting in 7th or 8th grade and continuing through high school, please fill out this form. We need at least (100) 7th and 8th graders committed to attending through high school in order for this form to make a difference. Spread the word!

Families in support of extending the grade configuration of Azure Fields to include 7 & 8 grades are invited to attend this meeting and provide public comment in support. Families, we're well into summer at this point, and we wanted to share with you one summer activity that you can do together: Gardening!

Rooted in the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, we treat gardens as holistic, self-sustaining ecosystems rather than just plots of vegetables. So there are an abundance of interesting conversations to be had about your plants. For instance:
-What do your plants look like at each stage of their growth? Take pictures!
-Where do your w**ds come from? Go on a scavenger hunt to find where each kind of w**d in your garden came from!
-What insect life can you find in your yard? Name them! (Bonus points if you can find their Latin name)

Each task we take has boundless opportunities for us to learn from. We invite you to find more opportunities this week to learn something from your regular tasks as a family. Please share what you discovered with us in the comments!
