UVU PREP provides three summers of rigorous academic instruction, educational hands-on projects, challenging homework assignments, daily career awareness, and weekly field trips for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who have an interest and aptitude in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics fields. UVU PREP 2017 will be held June 5th - July 20th, Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Mr. Deming has been teaching Physics at UVU PREP for the past 11 years. During the school year he teaches Geology, Oceanography, and Environmental Science. A proud UVU graduate, Mr. Deming is full of Wolverine pride and enjoys spending his summers back on campus inspiring the next generation of scientists. 🧪

Entering his ninth year in education, Justin is the 2025 Nebo School District Innovative Teacher of the Year. When he's not teaching, he's reading (100+ books a year!), playing board games, D&D, or enjoying outdoor adventures with his wife, daughters Eloise and Margot, and their dog, Ted. 🐶

Introducing... the INCREDIBLE Vienna LaRose! 💻
Ms. LaRose is thrilled to be back teaching Computer Science at UVU Prep this year! Although she was encouraged to pursue programming from a young age, her true passion has always been education. She earned her bachelor's degree in History Education and taught history for a few years. Ms. LaRose enjoys combining her love of teaching with technology and has loved sharing that enthusiasm with her students this year.

Meet our INCREDIBLE Tech T's organizer, Jonathan Allred! ⚡
Jonathan is an Associate Professor in the Architecture & Engineering Design Department at UVU, where he teaches engineering design software, principles of mechanical design, and statics. He has built valuable industry experience as a project manager and designer, bringing real-world expertise into the classroom. 🤖💡
