After completing a series of school-wide kindness initiatives and establishing kindness as a hallmark to the school's thought process, mission, vision, and values, this week Orem Elementary was proclaimed as a School of Kindness by One Kind Act a Day, a Semmanani Family Foundation Enterprise!
The students, teachers, administrators, and the school community worked very hard to achieve this huge accomplishment. Go CUBS!

Monday these two incredible women will be celebrating their retirement. We have been so blessed to have them at Orem. Come and celebrate with us. Please share.

Teacher of the Year for Alpine School District - Maile Flanders!!! You are amazing!!

Our amazing Maile Flanders was awarded as Teacher of the Year. She'll go to a dinner and we'll see if she is selected as Teacher of the Year for the state of Utah. Good luck Maile!!!

The Lion King JR was a total success this and last week! We are grateful for all the volunteers and students who invested hours and hours rehearsing, creating the scenography, installing the sound system and so on, to make sure our children perform at a high level. They are the best!

“Kelsey Larsen singlehandedly volunteers more hour per week than probably any other parents at Orem Elementary. Between play, ballroom, every single event, and being Treasurer, Kelsey is a pillar who holds up everyone and everything that makes up the PTA. Without her, we couldn’t do a fraction of our programs. Everyone knows and loves Kelsey, and we are so grateful for her.”
