"Russia after Putin", virtual presentation by Vladimir Kara-Murza on Sept 14 at 1pm in CB 101c as part of National Security Studies Week.

Kara-Murza is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, historian, and prominent Russian democracy advocate. He survived two poisonings linked by independent investigations to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) and was later arrested for publicly opposing Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In 2023, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison and was released in August 2024 as part of the largest East-West prisoner exchange since the Cold War. He is currently a contributing columnist for The Washington Post.
