Mellor Tactical LLC

Our Story

Mellor Tactical LLC classes includes all the required instruction, fingerprints, photos, class syllabus, stamped application and delivery to BCI. Our course is presented by NRA and Utah BCI certified instructors. This is a professional permit course where we make the learning process enjoyable, fun and intimidation free.

The class length is about four hours long. The class will cover the curriculum as set forth by the State of Utah. The cost of this class is $50 per student, but we have many discounts and occasional promotions. The State fee is $52 for Utah residents.

We can come to you or you can come to one of our monthly classes. You sign up by simply hitting the "GOING" button on one of our class events.

If you are willing to host a concealed firearm course and draw 8 or more people to the class, then the course will be free for the host. You will still need to pay the State fee. If a host is able to draw 15 or more people to the course, the course is free and Mellor Tactical will pay for the hosts State fee. All other students will still need to pay for the course and their application fees.

Mellor Tactical LLC was started because we had less than ideal experiences getting our own Utah Concealed Carry permits. We decided to start our own classes and simplify the process as much as possible for our clients. Years later, we are still actively looking for ways to make the process better.
