Although we were on Spring Break, it was a great week with Sterling Scholar Final Interviews and American Chemical Society's Chemistry Olympiad Exam! Go UCASians!

We had eight UCASians participate in multiple events at the recent regional competition of Science Olympiad at Snow College. This was an increase from the six participants last year. In the end, Josephine Chiu and Benjamin Chiu won third place in the Designer Genes event, Porter Mccuistion and Ben Beckham won second place in the Circuit Lab event, and EG Turner and Brandt Wilcox won first in Rocks and Minerals while Lizzie Delong and Jasper Holt performed very well in the Boomilever and Bungee Drop events.

The participants had so much fun! They are excited to prepare and compete in the State Olympiad at Southern Utah University.

It was so fun to see many of our alumni at the building send off! Thank you for making UCAS a magical place for the last 20 years. Here’s to 20 more!

Lisa Rehm entered the American Legion Oratorical Contest and the Orem/Lindon Post competition. She will be competing at the district level this Saturday Feb 7, at 1:00 at the Provo Historic County Courthouse. Anyone who would like to come is welcome.

In 2025 UCAS's percentage (78.62%) of students achieved their individual growth goal toward English proficiency and that percent is above the state average (32%).
