This book needed something a little bit "more." It's a handwritten Grimoire, the entire text is written upsidedown and backwards. Handwritten grimoires are extremely rare, and that detail is the biggest draw to this book. It's a simple box, the cover is from the handwritten title page, but something so unique and rare needed a little bit more...I took part of the text and wrapped it around the walls of the box. It's subtle, but makes the box!

I'm ready for this new year and the exciting things I have developing!
The last few months I have been moving and settling into a new house. I now have a studio space where I have more than 3'x4' to stand and move in, (not an exaggeration, my last studio I couldn't open the door more than about 8" it was so small), and I even have a window which makes a room exponentially more inviting to work in! Which also means that physically and mentally I have more room to get these launched.
Stay tuned, because its going to be a fun year.

Boxes can be simple, an open tray to hold a book, or I often add trays and drawers to them. This drawer held a letter of authentication and the case for the glasses stored on top.

With the laser engraved covers, the outer fabric has to stay light for the detailed designs to show. I love color, so I like to have fun with the interior, but some days a subtle marble is best so it doesn't compete with the book inside. Happy .

I'll 100% admit that wrapping the packages with the wax seal is one of my favorite things to do, though I'm losing out more often than not to my girls wanting to do it too.
