Here's the quick version:

🏫 Utah Valley University is the university.
📚 Inside it are seven academic colleges, each focused on a different area of study.
⚙️ The Smith College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) is one of them, home to 11 departments where students learn to build, design, create, code, fly, cook, and innovate.

One of UVU's favorite welcome-back traditions, College Day gives students the chance to get to know their college before the semester gets into full swing. Meet some faculty, connect with classmates, discover student resources, grab some free swag, and see what SCET is all about.

(And yes... there really is a difference between a college and a university. 😉)
