Something I believe pretty deeply: every child deserves a teacher who is always trying to get better for them. 🎹
I just finished a course through TopMusic on teaching neurodivergent students. I have had kids in my studio who learn differently, and I wanted more tools to help them thrive. Genuinely so glad I did it. 💛
If your child learns a little differently and you have wondered if piano lessons could be a good fit, reach out. Claim your spot at the link in bio. 🎶

Happy April! We're kicking off the month with a challenge. 🎹
The April Practice Challenge: 5 minutes every day for 30 days.
That's it. Not an hour. Not a perfect session. Just 5 focused minutes, every single day. Research shows that short, consistent practice builds skills faster than occasional long sessions. And honestly? Most kids end up playing longer once they sit down.
Practice take many forms including listening to music, tapping rhythms, and trying to learn something from ear!
Who's in? Comment "I'm in!" below and I'll be cheering you on all month. I'll be sharing tips, wins, and check-ins throughout April to keep us all going. 🌱

🏆 Win #2: I worked on updating my website over this month and I hope you take a look at it!
🏆 Win #3: I took a break and my students came back having learned new songs!
These are the moments that remind me why I do this. Thank you to every family who trusts me with their child's musical journey. 🎹

A question I get asked often: "What age is the right age to start piano?" 🎹
My answer? Earlier than most people think.
Kids as young as 3 can absolutely begin exploring music. Not through traditional lessons, but through play-based preschool music classes designed for little learners. By age 5, most children are ready to dive into private lessons.
The real secret? Starting early builds a relationship with music that lasts a lifetime. Students who begin with my preschool classes often stick with piano for years because music already feels like a natural, joyful part of their world.
