The future of Mountain View wrestling is in great hands as the Lakeridge Wrestling Team showcased their talent and determination in an action-packed competition in Price. With a mix of beginning and experienced wrestlers, Lakeridge took on the challenge of wrestling nine duals in a single day, proving their toughness and endurance on the mat.

Leading the charge were Zach Grow and Crew McGee, who both delivered outstanding performances, going undefeated in all nine duals. Their leadership and skill set the tone for the team, helping Lakeridge secure a 4th-place finish out of 10 teams in a highly competitive field.

Beyond the team’s success, the invaluable mat time gained from this event will serve as a crucial building block for the season ahead. With each match, the young wrestlers gained experience, confidence, and the competitive edge needed to contribute to the Mountain View wrestling program in the future.

With such a strong showing early in the season, Lakeridge is proving to be a promising feeder program for Mountain View High. The work ethic, resilience, and dedication on display in Price are sure to translate into continued success as the season progresses.
