The Ca****la School of Music is seeking dynamic Music teachers:
The Ca****la School of Music is looking to expand its teaching staff, with great teachers of piano, voice, violin, guitar, bass and woodwinds, who love working with kids (6-16) in both popular and classical genres and who can be available this Summer or by early September at the latest. Most of our students range in experience from beginner through intermediate, with a few advanced students and adults as well. A degree in Music or considerable experience as a working musician is a must, but more important is your ability to engage the students on a level that lets them have fun while learning.
Our school is now in its sixteenth year of operation and has a great and long tenured staff. We are looking for special candidates to join our ranks and help us to continue to deliver the very best musical instruction in the area.
As the pandemic restrictions are lifted, we are planning a return to in-person lessons at our well equipped school, but will also continue to offer Virtual lessons to the degree that they are requested by incoming students. While we have immediate needs for teachers of piano, voice, violin and woodwinds, we would be very happy to find great candidates in other musical areas.
Other Instruments: If you teach another instrument and are interested in giving in-person lessons from the Philadelphia suburbs, and would like to place your resumé on file with us, we will be glad to look it over and keep it for future teaching prospects!
Ca****la is located in Oreland, five minutes from Glenside, Chestnut Hill and Fort Washington. We are a five minute walk from the Oreland Septa Rail station, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are open Monday through Thursday, 3:00-8:00p.m., and Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. You can learn more about us by visiting our web site: www.cappellaschoolofmusic.com
Please e-mail your resume, indicating your availability and the instruments you are qualified to teach, for immediate consideration. All resumés will also be kept on file for one year. Specialists in one instrument are encouraged to apply, but for obvious reasons, generalists often stand the best chance of quickly developing a sizable roster.
Pay Scale: Beginning teachers start at $22.50 per hour and advance to $28.00 per hour with tenure.
