Hello, June. ☀️
We’re stepping into slower mornings, muddy shoes, popsicles, outdoor play, water tables, bike rides, and all the little moments that make childhood summers feel magical.
Summer at Nourish is rooted in play, connection, and wonder and we’re so excited to begin.

Our end of year family picnic is one of our favorite Nourish traditions. Seeing families gathered together, kiddos playing, teachers laughing and snow cones enjoyed brings so much joy.
This is a community who, throughout this year, have learned and grown together, families who have trusted us with their children, and teachers who have poured their hearts into this work. The picnic gives us an opportunity to simply be together and how special is that ❤️
With that, the 2025-2026 program year ends. We’ll be closed on Monday for cleaning and preparing our 2026 summer program and we’ll see you all again on Tuesday.

As we move toward the end of the program year, we’re holding space for both celebration and transition.
There are picnics to enjoy, seeds to plant, milestones to honor and a whole lot of gratitude for the journey we’ve shared.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. It is an honor to grow alongside them. 🤍

As we enjoy time with family and the unofficial beginning of summer, we pause with gratitude for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who made these freedoms possible.
Wishing our Nourish families a meaningful and peaceful Memorial Day. 💛

Fine motor skills are the small movements children make using the muscles in their hands, fingers, and wrists. These skills help children learn how to do everyday tasks with control, coordination, and independence. Fine motor skills are built in the little things. 💛
Rolling play dough, picking up tiny treasures, painting, pouring, cutting, and buttoning all strengthen the small muscles in children’s hands and fingers.
These everyday moments of play lay the foundation for so much later on — writing, tying shoes, using utensils, caring for themselves, and moving through the world with confidence and independence. 🌱
